It goes without saying that every homeowner has a different reason for remodeling. Whether it’s to improve the flow and functionality of their space or just updating the design, the Homecare Inc team is happy to take on any challenge! For this homeowner, it was all about as refreshing the style of their townhome bathrooms; the project included remodeling, not one, but two, bathrooms in this Bloomington home.
The master bathroom was a decent size but the homeowner wanted to update it according to today’s current design trends. To start, we expanded the shower and created a custom, walk-in tile shower. Using a classic white subway tile in the shower and around the tub was an easy way to update the space while helping the bathroom feel larger.
The shower floor features a gorgeous hexagon tile, which is also used as an accent in the built-in shower niche. We also removed the existing tub and replaced it with a beautiful pedestal tub. Rounding out the new master bathroom is a brand-new vanity with a unique sink, this “through style sink” allows both faucets to utilize one drain.
This updated bathroom design is carried over into the main hallway bathroom. We expanded the shower to create more space and used the same white subway tile and hexagon tile as the master bathroom. A new floating vanity and open shelving above the toilet enhance the on-trend, modern feel of the space.
